Humanities Lecture Series — Chairman Shu Chen: “Align Body & Mind × Turn Thought to No‑Thought”

On May 16, 2025, MicroMetal held its first Humanities Lecture, inviting Chairman Shu Chen to speak on “Align Body & Mind × Turn Thought to No‑Thought.”Born in 1955 in Yunlin, Chairman Chen grew up with limited resources but never gave up on learning. He became the first in Taiwan to pass four high-level civil service examinations and the Grade A civil service exam, ranking first nationwide in the financial examination, and later served as the Chairperson of the Financial Supervisory Commission under the Executive Yuan.

Chairman Chen emphasized the spirit of the “Middle Way,” rooted in benevolence and respect for all beings, with broad‑minded inclusiveness. He highlighted long‑term physical and mental well‑being—using relaxation, breathwork, and balance to relieve stress. Bodily stability and awareness ground mental calm, helping you stay clear amid changing circumstances and emotions.

Through the course, participants engage in body relaxation, breath control, and mindfulness exercises to help alleviate stress, improve focus, and foster care and support among colleagues.
